The Only Way To Lose Weight

The weight loss industry is ever increasing. It seems that each year more and more people are looking for the easy way to lose their unwanted kilos or the 'magic wand' that will 'zap' away the extra weight.


Truth is... there is NO magic wand and no magic pill or potion.


Truth is... (and this may surprise you), the ONLY way to successfully lose weight and maintain your ideal weight is to INCREASE YOUR SELF WORTH.


Your self worth (or lack of) reflects everything you do, say, feel and act upon.


I have personally consulted hundreds of people regarding their seeming 'weight problem'. In almost EVERY CASE the underlying issue is a lack of self-worth - a lack of self-love and a desperate need to find 'purpose' or 'meaning' in a life that has become routine, mundane or just plain unrewarding.


We all feel these things occasionally. Some people CHOOSE to change their lives in positive ways. Others have little idea that they even have a CHOICE.


The only way to lose weight and keep it off, is to KNOW YOU HAVE A CHOICE. And only YOU can make it.


The following choices are just a few to consider:


1. Find a hobby or talent that you have and immediately take steps to create an enjoyable outlet JUST FOR YOU.


2. Eliminate any dysfunctional relationships you are enduring and move on in a different direction. In other words, open your mind to the idea that there is a more fulfilling road for you to travel.


3. Search for a business opportunity to get involved with that will increase your social circle and enhance your skills - you may even earn some extra cash.


4. Search for your 'dream job'. Whatever that may be - find it. It's waiting for you and all you need do is open the way to explore your options.


5. Know that you are the only person in the entire world that can CHANGE YOUR LIFE. KNOW THIS.


6. Enlist the assistance of a Personal Coach to guide your steps toward a greater sense of worth by allowing you to see your true purpose and potential.


7. Tidy-up your 'mental space'. Get rid of the idea that you have gained weight because of ... (add ANY EXCUSE you normally use). Write down your best five excuses for being overweight and then accept that they are 'EXCUSES' and not 'REASONS'. There are no reasons for being overweight (unless you have a legitimate medical condition). After realising your best 'excuses', find ways to accept them and release them.


8. Do you enjoy your life? Do you allow yourself to laugh with life? Do you allow yourself the TIME to enjoy the things that your life has to offer? Discover your talents and live your dreams by interacting with others. Find groups or forums that are positive and uplifting and that encourage forward-moving goals, dreams and ambitions. Take time to allow yourself to find the best avenue for you to feel a part of a larger network of like-minded people. You can do this by joining local groups or by surfing the internet for a huge variety of wonderful opportunities to move FORWARD toward your goal.


9. Forgive yourself and forgive EVERYONE else then just move onward and upward!


10. Avoid fad diets at all costs. Your first priority is NOT to lose weight, but to GAIN self-worth. Find ways to gain this first and you will then find the appropriate way to start losing kilo's and maintaining your healthy weight range.


By thinking about all or some of the above, you will find (as I have found, time and time again) that your 'weight problem' is not a physical one. By speaking with people just like you over a 10 year period, I have found, that weight management is a state of 'self-worth'.


Regain your self-worth; your true identity, and watch the kilos melt away.


Think about it. The choice is YOURS.
