Relieving Stress With Proper Diet, Here are are a few reasons for stubborn fat retention

1. YOU ARE NOT GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP

Quality sleep is 7 to 8 hours a night (not a week!) Growth hormones are secreted when you are sleeping and growth hormones help your metabolism speed up, you are also mentally sharper when more growth hormones are secreted. But the more sleep you get does not mean the more mentally sharp and thinner you get. After 8 hours the bell curve goes down.

2. Taking certain medications can cause stubborn fat retention.

3. Not drinking enough water to flush out your body can cause stubborn fat retention. How much water do you need?

Here is the formula to figure it out. Calculate about half and once to an once of water to your body weight. If you are 100 pounds then you need approximately 50 onces. There are 8 ounces to a cup = 6 glasses of water a day for a person of 100 pounds. Are you 150 pounds then you need about 9 glasses of water a day. Drink More Water if You are Under A Lot of Stress. You can substitute herbal tea for water. Mint tea is a great stomach soother, so is chamomile Fruity teas such as Mandarin Orange or Raspberry are nice too.

When stress levels are high you tend to retain weight. When very stressed, try to calm the body down by doing something that releases stress such as meditation, yoga, or breathing exercises.

Practice Stress Relieving Exercises such as Meditation, Yoga, Breathing Exercises.

4. Genetics can be the culprit too.
If one parent is obese there is a 25% chance of being obese and if both parents then the percentage is 50% 40% of Americans are obese (probably that is a low estimate). Genetics Can Keep You From Losing Fat Fast that only means that you have to work a little harder

5. Impurities in your system make it harder and harder to release body fat

6. Eat small meals every 2 to 3 hours.

Most Americans eat the most of their food after 5:00pm. that is BAD. Put something in your body every 2 to 2 ½ hours. Not a pizza or a steak or a Hamburger, fries and coke...NO, NO, No, try a handful of almonds, an apple, some cut vegetables, a small sweet potato, a cup of soup etc...
