Don't Starve Yourself To Lose Weight! It Does Not Work

As more and more people are becoming victims of obesity, they are desperate to try every possible method of losing weight fast. In fact, many of them even resort to totally curb down their food intake or a continuous fasting. Some people also cut down their calorie intake to a minimum level. Both these attitudes are extremely dangerous and can be fatal. They can also result in serious body disorders.

The concept of starving oneself to lose weight quickly is not a new concept. It has been in place since decades. People involved in the showbiz industry, especially fashion industry, are known for fasting for days on end just to keep their figures in shape. They would take laxatives and other stuff as well just to get rid of all their body fats quickly. Many of you would now think that the showbiz people actually look smart and slim. Well that's only a superficial thing; many of you would be surprised to know that many models have starved themselves to death just for the sake of a very slim figure. The problem is so intense that now many fashion councils and governments have restricted the use of underweight models in fashion shows.

Coming back to the issue of starving to lose weight quickly, I would again strongly recommend against this practice. If you continue fasting, your body will lose all of its water content thus giving way to serious dehydration. Secondly, your body will not only burn fats in case of excessive fasting, but will also get drained of all the necessary nutrients which are crucial for life. Multiple organ failure is a common symptom for people who starve themselves for losing weight. Starving is totally an unworkable concept to lose weight in a quick fashion.

Weight loss is a challenge for sure but its not as hard as it seems.
