New Year, New President, New Weight - It's All Change!

January 20th is the day we see a new United States President inaugurated. It's a great day for America and a great day for the rest of the world. Why? Not necessarily for the promise his presidency holds, but for the amazing example Barack Obama has shown to the world. It's an example of determination and selflessness, of self discipline and self-belief. These are all qualities that we need if we are to succeed in anything we do.
This New Year it would do us all a power of good if we were to take the young President's example. What a difference it could make to our lives and to our future. The fantastic thing is that there is absolutely nothing to stop us making change. Change is, after all what life is all about. We need to embrace it, not fear it. If we carry on in the same old way there will be no progress. If we want to reinvigorate our lives we have to commit ourselves to change. The rewards can be huge.
If you're overweight you might already have earmarked the New Year as the time that you are going to take action to lose weight. It's a good thing to do. But are you just contemplating going on another diet? Is it going to be the same old, same old? Diet fade in February and weight gain in May?
If you really want to lose weight permanently, you have got to make change. Going on yet another diet isn't going to help you.
