Heating Up Your Metabolism is the Answer to Weight-Loss!

I want to start by saying that if you want to lose weight, to look fit, and to be healthy then you need to HEAT up your metabolism. You are probably thinking Brandon don't you mean to speed up the metabolism? No, I mean heat it up! The reason I say heat it up is because the very unit used to measure energy is what we know to be a calorie and calories are a unit of heat. If you want to lose weight you have to burn up to 3,500 calories in order to eliminate a single pound of fat! This is how we can gauge the efficiency of one's metabolism.

Many of you think that you have to only diet in order to lose weight and burn fat. This is only a portion of the formula. The key to success in having a fit and healthy body is a fit and healthy lifestyle. First of all, I don't like the word "diet." It is used too loosely these days and coincides more with someone's false "fad" of trying to sale a product rather than truly teaching the public (you) about being healthy. The simple thing to do is to eat a healthy portion of lean meats and a variety of fruits and vegetables. It is that simple. The public over complicates things by wanting to take magical pills, doing cleanses, or participating in part-time commitments like the Atkins diet. I do admit that some things serve specific purposes, but the general public has been twisted into a pretzel of confusion over the last 10 to 15 years and its getting worse.

The other false belief is that people think if they just exercise alone they will end up with the perfect body. Well, this is a false belief too. Now you may have people with extraordinary "Hot" metabolisms and what they consider NOT eating healthy may NOT be what you consider as eating unhealthy. So you can't compare yourself to other people. Exercise is extremely important in having a healthy and fit body, however working out only breaks down the body. The foods you intake are what repairs your body! This is why you have to have both elements of exercise and nutrition in order to have a well conditioned, fit, and healthy body.
