Starvation Diets

You should realize that when you starve, you are depriving your body of calories and good nutrition. This will cause you to shut down mentally and physically.
Your body does not function as it should and you end up with more troubles than in the beginning. This happens since your body needs nutrients so it starts to utilize the nutrients which are stored in your muscles, not your body fat. This causes your muscles to disintegrate while your body fat remains intact. This is happens since your body decides to utilize the nutrients based in the muscles and keep on storing fat in your body.
This is a really confusing and a counter intuitive thing. When you start to reduce your food intake, the much needed nutrients to keep your body moving are also reduced. To avoid this, your muscles are used up and not your body fat. This is done since fat is not a really good fuel source.
Starvation triggers your body into thinking you are not going to get food so it will stop using fat and store it so that you can stay warm and hopefully function later on. Due to this, a phenomenon known as skinny fat occurs in which you lose a lot of weight but your body fat stays high. This should never be your aim since this is a very dangerous thing.
Your aim should rather be to get your body toned. There are no quick weight loss schemes. Just as making money it takes time and effort. You will not suddenly lose a lot of weight. Following a starvation diet leads you to lose weight in the short term and gain weight in the long term.
