As the nature of work is becoming more fast-pacing, more people are eating unhealthily and not finding time to exercise. This eventually leads to undesired weight gain and an increase of people who are overweight.
Tummy fats and love handles are nice phrases to describe those fats that accumulate on your lower abdomen and on each side of the waist respectively. These fats are all unwanted fats and the only way to get rid of love handles and tummy fats is to lose weight.
To lose weight effectively, you need to have a weight loss plan that focuses on healthy diet and consistent exercising. By eating the right meals and exercise regularly, you will be able to make your body's fat burning system to burn away those tummy fats and love handles that have resided on your abdomen for years.
Let us first talk about having a healthy diet plan. With a healthy diet plan, you will be able to reduce your overall body fat and maintain your weight at a healthy level. Skipping meals will not bring you anywhere. A healthy diet plan will not instruct you to skip meal as skipping meal will only make your body keeps food longer in your stomach as fats for energy.
Instead of skipping meals, what you can do is to take meal which consists of low calories and have smaller portion every time when you eat. Take in more vegetables and fruits to digest food faster to prevent them from remaining in your stomach and cause it to be bloated. I know that sometimes it is tempting to take in some chocolates and soft drink. But if you really want to get rid of your tummy and love handles, you need to be disciplined and do not take food which consist high calories.
Next, with a healthy diet plan, you need to have a regular exercising plan to back it up. Having love handles and tummy fats mean that you have too much body fat. Therefore, the best way to get rid of love handles and tummy fats is to lose body fat by exercising regularly.
Develop an exercise plan that make you at least work out 3 times a week. Each exercise session should last at least about 45 minutes. You can either go to the gym or slow jog in the park. For working adults, if your surrounding of your workplace is not convenient for jogging, I strongly recommend you to join a gym club near your workplace and visit it 3 times every week.
Regular cardiovascular workout routine is the best way to gradually reduce your love handles and tummy fats. With healthy diet and regular exercising, you will soon be able to dress more confidently and not worrying about those protruding fats near your abdomen anymore.

I Don't Exercise - Will I Still Lose Weight With Calorie Shifting?

The second rule of learning how to get rid of stomach fat is that, in about 99% of the cases, you aren't going to learn how to do it correctly unless you're willing to invest a few bucks in your health to learn how to truly do it.
I never understood this rule until about 2 years ago when I finally decided to pay $30 or $40 for a book that turned out to be the turning point in my health life. Since then I've been about 300% more lean and muscular than I used to be.
The third rule is that you must take whatever you learn and customize it to your own life. For example, if they're telling you to do "X" workout but that's too advanced, simply do less reps or less weight so you can do it!
If you follow these 3 rules you're on your way to a better body. Weight loss starts with determination and action. Knowledge soon follows because without knowing how to properly exercise or what food to eat, you'll make no progress.

Say No To Crash DietsAlthough crash diets may seem easy and simple to follow, they are almost always hard to stick to. You may lose a couple of pounds in the first few days of going into a crash diet, but there is a big possibility that you will gain what you lose plus more pounds after you stop following the diet. Moreover, most crash diet programs require starving yourself or just eating certain members of particular food groups; which makes them really hard to follow and keep.

Not everybody has the time and money to go to the gym everyday. If you are one of those people who either do not have the resources or simply do not want to share equipment in the gym, you can always exercise in the comfort of your own home. Aside from the daily workouts, which are important to keep your heart and body strong, you should also move around and fidget when you can. Even the smallest movement and action can use up calories; so do not underestimate the power of fidgeting.
When you are watching the television or sitting on your desk, you can move your feet or shake your ankles. During your break, you can also do some stretching inside the comfort room or simply wave your hands up in the air. While you are waiting in line, you can try marching in place.

Busy Moms When Is The Prefect Time To Start Your Fat Loss Program

I am waiting for the right time to start my Fat Loss Program to lose my baby fat. Or I will start my diet at the first of the month, first of the year, after the holidays, etc. It is always "I will start to lose the baby fat when..."
What is all the waiting about?
Is there some magical time or do the stars and planets have to be aligned correctly? What will happen different in the next day, week, month or year?
Busy Moms-guess what? There is never a "Just the Right Time". You will always be busy with the kids, the house, the husband, the family and on and on. The right time is "Right Now". So you have to make a decision to do it now and quit putting it off.
Do you want to:
- Have confidence in yourself again
- Have the energy to keep up with the kids and all of the other stuff
- Do away with the sugar and junk cravings
- Get back into those sexy, tight jeans again
- Get rid of the stress
- Be noticed by your friends "Girl you are looking GOOD"
- Have better health so that you will feel like taking care of the kids and family
Now can you smile and honestly say "No the timing is not right I really do not want all those things"?
So if you do not want to feel and look great now then WHEN? If you wait for the "Right Time" what will prevent you from making the same decision to wait? Again and again...Then another month or year of wishing and wanting and still not doing it will have gone by. So what do you gain by waiting and not doing it "Right Now"?
It is a shame that right after the holidays, after the first of the year or at the start of bikini season the well wishing moms come out of the "Wishing" lifestyle to start a Fat Loss Program, only to fall right back into the same old lifestyle in just a few weeks or months. Back to the timing is not right again...
It is apparent that this approach does not work. Taking the unsupportive, easy, familiar road just waste your time, money and energy only to be back at the same place day after day. It is aggravating and just drains you to no avail.
You probably have felt that before you start a Fat Loss Program you should have everything in place. The time to exercise, the right foods in the cabinets, the baby sitting service, etc.
You need to get started "Right NOW" and not worry about everything being perfect.You have to make a decision to "Make time to exercise". You know this is true but you have to convince yourself that it is the right time and you are going to do it NOW! No matter what CHAOS is going on it is YOUR TIME.
You need to visualize that the house is a mess, the dishes are piled up and all the clothes need to be washed and "You are Exercising away No Matter What". Then once you are finished with your exercise you will tackle all of the stuff that needs to be done.
Once you realize that you need to take your well-being into consideration first then it will be easier to stay with the program and trust me it will all get done. Once you start to look way too good, you might even get more help from the family (husband especially) to keep you looking good.
If you are not taking care of yourself what does this tell your children and the ones that you love? Remember life is all about duplication!
So Moms-It is Time to Take Action! Make your health and fitness a priority. Give yourself the ability to look in the mirror with confidence and feel good about yourself. Show others (especially the ones that you love) that you do care and that you have made a decision to do something about your health and the way that you look. The Time is Right Now!

Eat more protein - Eating more protein seems somewhat obvious for building ab muscles but it also helps you feel full. Try to eat healthy proteins low in calories such as lean cuts of poultry or fish. Low-fat yogurt, fat-free milk, and nuts are sources of protein too. Pay attention to the calorie count.
Try to drink a glass of wine everyday - Drinking wine as an excuse to fight weight loss isn't the right way to think of this step. Wine is rich in anti-oxidants and can provide multiple health benefits on top of the weight loss. Weight Training With A Weight Loss Goal

Paul YostIn a weight loss, or fat loss phase as I prefer to call it, weight training is considered a very important ingredient to the equation. The main emphasis of weight training in the fat loss phase is maintenance of muscle tissue.
Muscle tissue shapes and forms the contours of the body. I'm not saying you can change the shape of a muscle because that's physically impossible. It does, however, have a discernable shape that is reflected on the male or female body. So, if all emphasis were placed on cardiovascular or energy system development (ESD), as I call it, there would definitely be some muscle wasting going on.
This causes a loss in shape or lack of shape improvement when in a weight loss phase. Muscle is considered the primary indicator of metabolism. Basically, it single handedly determines how many calories the body burns. So if you lose muscle through exercise or dieting, you burn fewer calories through daily processes.
So, in a weight loss training program, we want to maintain or even add muscle to our frame through proper exercise prescription. The use of compound movements needs to be emphasized. This includes, but is not limited to, various forms of: squats ,deadlifts , pulls and pushes. Specific examples would be barbell squats, barbell bench press, chin ups, etc.
The frequency of weight training can vary, but keep in mind that maintenance of muscle tissue is the goal. The majority of training should be based on ESD. Weight workouts should include circuit training, supersets, tri sets, etc. to burn up energy and/or stimulate growth hormone which has been linked to fat mobilization and usage. Still, one session of the week should be devoted to lifting as heavy a weight as possible in good form. This is the most important lifting session of the week as far as muscle is concerned in a weight loss phase. By placing an overload on the system, the body has little choice but to hold onto that energy consuming tissue called muscle.
Repetitions for all lifts during each training session are going to be highly individual to the trainee. Beginners and women need to use a higher repetition range due to having less neurologically efficient central nervous systems. Basically, this means they aren't able to use as much muscle per repetition as someone with more experience. Both populations obviously improve with training. Intermediate and advanced trainees, on the other hand, need to use lower ranges. The one exception is when growth hormone or lactate producing workouts are to be performed. For this type of workout the range needs to be from 12-20.
One quick side note. Women shouldn't be afraid to lift heavy weights. I see it all the time at every gym I've ever been to. Lots of cardio and very little weight training. Most women need to get stronger. The concern of getting "big, bulky muscles" is so outdated it makes me sick. If you sit and worry about getting these "big, bulky muscles", consider all the men out there who are doing everything they know to get "big, bulky muscles" and are having a hard time achieving that. Men have a distinct advantage, with few exceptions from the female population, in stimulating muscle growth. The hormone, testosterone, is one of the main factors in this process. So, for those skeptics who doubt whether weightlifting is the magical recipe for fat loss, they should definitely try it some day and see for themselves.

Calorie shifting is a relatively new idea but it certainly is very effective and many are losing weight using the method without doing any exercise at all. Here is a quick brief of how the diet works.
The majority of diets are based around a low calorie diet and the emission of a food group from our diet. Although these can provide results for a very short period they don't continue to work and usually end up with you weighing more than you did when you started.
The reason for this is that by combining low calorie intake and the loss of a food group your body senses it is been starved and slows down your metabolism, which is of course what helps us to burn calories. It also stops your metabolism from burning fat as it wants to store this as an energy reserve. Instead our body burns lean muscle which apart from being unhealthy will also increase your appetite.
An increase in your appetite will usually result in a failed diet. The problem with that is when you start to eat as you used to you will gain weight faster because your metabolism is still working at a slower rate.
Shifting calories instead allows us to eat each food type but rotates when we eat them. This confuses the body and fools it into believing you are not on a diet and so keeps the metabolism working at a higher rate.
This results in fast and safe weight loss, which isn't something you come across often. If your looking for ways to lose weight without exercising you will also be pleased to know that the diet only suggests a brisk walk each day but even without this the diet still works just as well.
